Comparing the iPad 3's Retina display with the iPad 2 standard display technology
The iPad 3, also known as "The New iPad" was released in March of 2012, and features a brand new Retina Display among other break-trough features that I am going to talk about in future videos.
The Retina Display:
The highest 9.7 inch display resolution on the planet. The new iPad's screen has a 2048 by 1536 resolution display, which believe me...its incredible. It's also an IPS screen as the old iPad screens, meaning that you get a viewing angle of 178 degress. Besides the resolution improvement, you also get a 40% better color gamut.
